SocialFaktory vs CapCut

CapCut makes video and leaves the posting to you. SocialFaktory makes it and puts it on your 7 channels, on a calendar you approve.

CapCut is a genuinely good editor, and free to start: a multi-layer timeline, keyframes, chroma key, colour grading, 8K export and a deep template library. It is more than an editor now, too. Its own pages turn text, images or keyframes into video, animate a photo into a talking avatar with lip sync, and dub a video into other languages while keeping the lips in sync. What CapCut does not do is put any of it on your channels. The editor has no posting schedule, no content calendar, no approval step and no workspace per brand; scheduling and publishing live in Pippit, a separate product built on CapCut. SocialFaktory runs the whole line in one place: describe the video in two lines and it casts the actor, writes and speaks the script, cuts it, captions it, crops it per channel, then schedules and publishes it to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Facebook and Pinterest, and reads the numbers back per channel.

Choose SocialFaktory if

  • You have no footage and no hour to spend on a timeline.
  • You want the finished video scheduled and published, not exported and uploaded by hand.
  • You want one calendar, an approval step and a workspace per brand around the video.

Choose CapCut if

  • You have your own footage and want frame-level control, keyframes, colour and effects.
  • You edit occasionally and a free editor with a large template library covers it.

Frequently asked questions

Can CapCut schedule posts to my social channels?

Not the editor itself. CapCut's own pages describe export as the last step, with no posting schedule, content calendar or approval flow. Scheduling, publishing and analytics live in Pippit, a separate product built on CapCut. SocialFaktory publishes to 7 channels on the schedule you set and reports back per channel, in the same place the video is made.

How much is CapCut Pro?

CapCut's own help centre says there is no single price: it varies by region, device and promotion, and it tells you to sign in and check the Pro plan yourself. So we will not quote a figure. SocialFaktory is $49 a month, the same everywhere, with video, writing, images and publishing to 7 channels included. (Public pricing, September 2026.)

CapCut has AI avatars and dubbing. What does SocialFaktory add?

CapCut can animate a photo into a talking avatar with lip sync and dub a video into other languages, and it says so on its own pages. The difference is everything around that: a cast and voices that stay the same across a brand, proven hooks, the caption written with the video, one calendar for 7 channels, an approval step before anything goes out, and the numbers back per channel. CapCut stops at the file.

They all stop at download. We stop at posted.
