# Write a post about the page you are on

Reading something worth sharing? The popup turns the tab you have open into a post that sounds like your brand, ready to schedule.

## Step by step

1. **Open the page you want to post about** An article, a product page, an announcement. The extension sends the address of that tab, never what is written on it.
2. **Pick the brand and the channel** Your brand sits in the masthead. Pick the channel the post is for, and the writer keeps to what that channel allows.
3. **Add your own draft, or skip it** Switch to My draft to hand over your own wording, or leave it on This page and let the writer start from the link alone.
4. **Press Write** Writing reserves 4 credits when it starts and settles at what it really used. The popup shows your balance before you press.
5. **Pick a take and edit it** You get several takes. Choose the one that sounds like you and change a word or two in the box.
6. **Schedule it, or keep it as a draft** Take the next hour, tomorrow at 9:00, or a time of your own. A scheduled post links straight to the calendar, a draft waits in the app.
