# Start from an image's style

Canonical page: https://www.socialfaktory.com/docs/extension/start-from-a-style

Right-click a picture or a video and the extension reads it back as a prompt: what it shows, the look it carries, and the shape it was made in. From there you make one of your own.

## Step by step

1. **Right-click the picture or the video** On an image, choose Start from this image's style. On a video, choose Start from this video's style. A picture is read from its own address, a video from the page it plays on.
2. **Press Find it** One fixed price, the same for a picture and for a video: the button reads Find it and names its price, 1 credit. Nothing runs until you press it.
3. **Read what it found** What it found gives the prompt in plain words, with the style it carries, the shape it was made in, and whether the reading came from an image or a video.
4. **Carry it into your own** Copy puts the prompt on your clipboard. Make an image from it opens the popup's image screen with the prompt in place and the shape already set, when the reading found one. Make a video from it opens SocialFaktory in a tab, ready to start.
5. **Take it onwards, or press Done** Done lets the reading go and frees the popup for the next thing. Make an image from it and Make a video from it let it go as well, since they carry the prompt onwards. If the popup lost the reading before it landed, the button reads Look again and brings back the one you already paid for, with no second charge.
