# Set up the browser extension

The extension puts SocialFaktory one click from whatever page you are on. Set it up once and you can write, make video and schedule without leaving the tab.

## Step by step

1. **Add it to your browser** Open the store listing and add SocialFaktory. It works in Chrome, in Firefox, and in the Chromium browsers that take Chrome Web Store items.
2. **Pin the toolbar button** Open your browser's extensions menu and pin SocialFaktory. The button stays in the toolbar, so the popup is always one click away.
3. **Sign in** Press the button, then Sign in. A SocialFaktory tab opens, you approve the connection, and the popup comes back signed in.
4. **Create your first brand** No brand yet? The popup links straight to the screen that creates one. It takes about two minutes, then come back to the popup.
5. **Connect a channel** Connect at least one channel so a post has somewhere to go. Text goes to X (Twitter), LinkedIn or Facebook, video to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest.
